The sign up page for the May 17 session is now up. You are nearing the Ruins of Kalator, home of the Mask of Calmness. Please sign up if you can attend, or post in the Session Availability area if you can't. The sooner you sign up or post in the forum the better, but please do so no later than the morning of the session.
Did I get your attention? Would you like your character to live on when current campaign ends, whenever that might be? This campaign setting originated 25+ years ago, and characters from my original 1st edition AD&D campaign are part of the fabric of the campaign. I hope to use this setting in the future with Neverwinter Nights 3 and onward, and maybe with pen and paper again some day. I'd like your characters to be part of the world fabric in the future, even if you are no longer playing those characters at that point in time.
I've often thought of starting a central repository of information, so that information about the world, including information about your characters, can be easily updated and augmented, and will be easily accessible in the future. So, in that spirit, I've started the Naeldor wiki. Although I may not add much to it until after this campaign ends due to time constraints, I invite all past and current players to contribute to the wiki with character information or otherwise. You will find a list of the current characters on the Personality page, but the character links don't contain any information yet. If you're interested in contributing to the wiki (with either your character information, or other info), let me know. The wiki is not open to the public, but you are all welcome to an account. Just ask, and I will send you account information, and a few sentences on how to add to the wiki.

Update: The server is now down, but you can post in the forums if you want to hop on the server this week to play around with the appearance changer.
-------------
Even though we aren't playing tonight, the server is up as of 6:55 EDT for anyone who wants to try out Charlie's Item Appearance Changer. I'll try to keep the server up until I go to bed (probably around 10 or 11 EDT).
You will first need to run WorldGate to download a few updates. Then, once logged in to the server, click on the "eye" menu in your game client, and select the "Change Apearance" option. You can then click through and change the appearance of any item that you are wearing.
Warning - if you decide NOT to change something, close the appearance changer by clicking on the 'X' in the upper right of the changer's UI to cancel your changers and exit the changer. Once you click the check mark, your items are forever changed in appearance.
I'll try to pop in to the forums in case anyone happens to log on and has questions.

I realized that this Sunday is Mother's Day. I know that this could present scheduling difficulties, since a few/most of you have kids and wives. Please indicate in this thread whether or not you are available or not. Thanks.
I've added a couple of new features to the server, which I am hoping will add to the immersiveness of our games. First, I have added in Charlie's Item Appearance Changer, which will let you customize the look of your character's items. Click on the screenshot to the left for a full-sized image, which should give you somewhat of an idea how it works if you're not already familiar with it. I stumbled upon this on a persistent world, and was pretty impressed.
Next, I've added in backpacks, by MisterBritish. You can see the backpacks in action below. Again, click on the screenshot for a full-sized image. The first image shows the "Adventurer's Backpack" from three different angles. The second screenshot shows the warrior's backpack (which is really a weapon sheath for the back), the mage's backpack, and the rogue's backpack. All of the backpacks go in the cloaks slot, so you can't wear a backpack and cloak at the same time as best I can tell.
These too I discovered while on a persistent world. I think getting out and about for a bit was a nice change, and gave me some other new ideas as well.
Both of these additions will be available soon via a WorldGate update (but not yet, so updating now won't get you anything). I will post back here when they are ready.

As noted in this thread, I wasn't sure what my availability would be concerning our "every Sunday" schedule going forward, due to a regular social event. I'm fairly certain those plans are firm now. I'll be unavailable to play on the first Sunday of every month, starting with this coming Sunday (May 3). We will continue to play regularly on every other Sunday (well, as regular as we have been), except the first Sunday of every month. I'll get the registration page up in the next few days. In the meantime, 350 XP will be available each of the next two weeks for participation in the roleplay forum. {mos_fb_discuss:14}
A WorldGate update is ready, so please run WorldGate prior to Sunday's session. When the Versioning message pops up, you can click "Yes" for a quicker download. Doing so will update a pwc file you already have, The Storm Coast#100.pwc, to a new version, The Storm Coast#102.pwc, by just adding the changes, instead of redownloading the entire file. Let me know if you run into any problems with the update. {mos_fb_discuss:14}
