You stand in the entrance chamber to Deeprock Hall. Fortifications have been erected all about you. Corporal Rockjam eyes you up and down, and then sighs.

"We'll have to take these down with the others. What has gotten into the elves?" he remarks with a tone of disbelief in his voice.

Lindalas leans over towards Zap...

"I wish we could just show the elves what is happening to the dwarves and vice versa. It is obvious that some third party is trying to pit elves and dwarves against one another and as long as the parties don't talk they wont realize it." He seems to think for a second or two before going on. "I guess there is another option. We might have to either stop or expose the culprit. Maybe we could play body guards for some of dwarves to see if we can provide proof that this isn't being done by elves".

Sissfus glances at rockjam...careful not to make eye contact.

"Perhaps it wasn't the elves" He says with a shrug. "have they ever done anything like this before?"
He sighs slightly and moves to examine the corpses, searching for some kind of information or clue.

Rockjam scratches his beard.

"Well, now, a' course we've had our differences now and again, but out and out murder? I reckon that last happened back during the Isolation, before my time. I see where yer headed, though. I said to the High Thane that mayhaps it wattin't elves, and we shouldn't be off jumpin' to no rash conclusions. He ain't listen to nobody 'cept that new advisor on this one, though."
