XP for participation in Roleplay Forums increased

Post by Venture » Sun Apr 24, 2005 3:59 pm

Forum roleplay bonuses are being INCREASED to reflect the greater experience needed at your current level to advance. An additional incentive is also being awarded to encourage participation. 300 XP was getting to be a drop in the bucket at your current level.

Now, 450 XP will be awarded to each character who participates each week. That will be increased to 750 XP for that character if every player takes part in forum roleplay in a given week.

As mentioned a few month back, the purpose of encouraging posts is to carry forth some continuity in the down time from week to week. I know from a campaign where I'm a player that players will never remember as much about events and background as the DM who spent hours making the module, so the forums can help keep things fresh in your minds from week to week.

Feel free to discuss this change here.

Since you are leveling up, the bonuses are being bumped to 600 XP for individual RP, and 900 for full party participation.

Great news. Especially if you are going to be throwing level 30 bad guys at us. Even though, apparantly this last one was a defective level 30 or something.

We probabvly shouldn't joking about it. Now V will be on a mission to make a truely fearsome and deadly creature or a correct level 30 bad guy....I think we will be in trouble the next session. :?

*Asia sneaks behind Wilks, shoves him through the creepy looking doorway first* "go check it out for us Wilks, you'll be ok".

I wouldn't do that, Asia. Wilks will probably think you're trying to grab his ass
