From Xruesgrim, you made your way back to Deeprock Hall, encountering various denizens of the Upperdark along the way. Upon arriving in the dwarven home, you pled your case to the High Thane, who, after finding the bodies of his dwarves and the acolytes, was not sure whether you were heroes or villains. Tamox’s journal seemed to convince him, and he dispatched emissaries to Elvenwood to try to mend fences with the elves.
You then rested, and set out for the Swamp of the Dead. Early in your journey, Sissfus realized that Alantha was missing, and immediately and correctly suspected . . . SKOTCH!!! Angry, Sissus confronted Skotch. Skotch kept the dagger, however, and the group patched matters up and moved on with their journey. You are now in the foothills of the Rockland Mountains, heading west towards the Swamp of the Dead. There, you seek the clerics of the Faceless One, who seem to be involved in some business of trying to raise a temple for their deity.
