Using the portal to exit the demiplane of magma, you found yourself back in the mountains north of the Homestead. You took another portal, and found yourself in a demiplane of ice. Fighting unusual ice golems, and a white dragon, you located another gem, and proceeded through another portal that returned you to the mountains. Using that gem in the sundial lowered the barriers blocking your path.
From there, you fought your way into the kobold lair, killing many kobolds in the process. You also rescued some prisoners, and fought some pitch black creatures that oozed evil. You are now in the depths below the kobold lair, looking for an exile that might have the password you need to pass through a magically locked door in the lair above you.
