I still remember after I got married, my ex gradually "replaced" all of my furniture and other stuff. It was quite subtle, such that I didn't even realize the trend that was occuring until one day I looked around and it dawned on me that nothing in the house was from my bachelor days anymore. . . At least she had better taste than I did. But damn, I miss those milk crates that my speakers were on, and the recliner I used to park in front of the TV. And I have had to defend my masculinity when people comment on the fact that my salt and pepper shakers match the cookie jar and a vase.

Wait a sec...you got married..and your "ex"? In one sentence even? lolVenture wrote:I still remember after I got married, my ex gradually "replaced" all of my furniture and other stuff.
Well, if she is gone, when she left did she take all the new stuff she had bought and put your milk crates back?

Yea, we were married for about 4 years. Let's see . . . of the major stuff, I got the sofa, bed, and computer (which I retired to "ski house duty" shortly after NWN was released). She got the big screen TV, and some of the newer end tables, coffee table, etc. Of course, then I had no end tables, coffee table, etc., and the milk crates were long gone.Tunari wrote:Wait a sec...you got married..and your "ex"? Oh, almost forgot - about 4 months after the split, I finally noticed that I had no pots and pans. Gives you an idea of my crappy diet if I went that long without noticing.
