You have recovered the cube from Archibold's Tower, which you believe is the key to open a sealed door below the Temple of Beam. You now stand outside the Temple of Beam, with the cube in your possession.

Asia makes her way towards Skotchy as they stand outside the temple, just to pick on him. " Hey Skotchy! So......*smiles* after we finish up a few things here, you gonna go back and visit your new lady friend Sylk? *giggles* I think she really liked you. But, I am worried about you surviving her in one piece *rumages through her pack*, here, this might help. *offers him a potion of Endurance*. I'd hate to lose you *tries to keep a straight face, than doubles over in laughter and almost drops the potion*

"Asia, I know you mean well, but if I was in Skottie's cloths I'd rather have a potion of speed or, even better, some means of teleportation. Actually, if I was on Skottie's cloths I'd look really stupid and be very uncomfortable. Talk about a tight fit!" *Lindalas joins Asia in uncontrolable laughter*
Sissfus wanders a fair way behind the wise-cracking duo, his eyes fixed on the moon stone in his hands, which is now glowing and shimmering very faintly. His lips move quickly, and faint murmurs can be heard by those close enough about "hunt", and "pack", and "blood".
Suddenly, as he is not paying attention, Sissfus' feet collide with the the low wall of a fountain, and he plundges in head-first. As the softly glowing gem touches the water, it pulses once with a blinding flash, and then darkens to a pale grey. Sissfus sits in the water, shaking his head, which is now elongated and lizard-like, as he has just changed into a small, scaly kobold. He hisses and spits for a moment, then stands, and clenches his small fists in what appears to be an immense exertion of effort.
Nothing happens.
A look of terror crosses his ugly little face for a moment, and then he hisses an obscenity, before looking around furtively, and darting behind a pillar, into the shadows near Skotch, Asia, and Lind.
He whispers loudly from the shadows, in an annoying voice. "Sissfus appears to be...stuck. Can Asia and Lindalas and Skotch make sure no one has seen Sissfus, while he tries to fix himself?"

*getting a mental flurry of images in her head, Asia turns to SIlk who is describing what happened to Siss, the ever watchful cat didn't miss Sissy's mishap. She trys not to laugh, thinking the instincts of Sissy's Kobold form might be to run away* "Lind...did you pick up on Silks message of what Siss just did? Don't frighten him away he...

"Ok Siss...you need to relax. The sudden trip and rush of emotion when falling over triggered your transformation. And now that you want to transfer back so badly you can't. Again, because you are too excited right now. Worried that someone saw you as a...Kobold *almost smiles*..so close your eyes, exhale, take a couple deep breaths and calm yourself....you should be ok and transfer back after you have your emotions unders control. Now at least one of you will understand that I am not really such a cold hearted unfeeling bitch, I just have to keep the emotions undercontrol..I don't want to be transferring into a badger at an unopportune moment. *giggles a bit* I actually trained down my emotions so long ago, that maybe now I wouldn't have that problem. It's sort of a beginners problem. There has been quite a few times during my adventures with you guys that I was shocked or startled and didn't transform...but anyway, back to you *looking at the little shadow of Siss behind the pillar* "you are calm now right? A number of snuffles and a quiet scuffling sounds emenate from behind the pillar. Sissfus' dark form can be seen if one looks hard enough, seated in a meditative pose, his eyes closed.
His form flickers a little...almost as if he is trying to change back, but then the moonstone pulses softly again, and when the light fades, Sissfus is still a kobold, his skin, if anything, scalier and browner than before.
"Sissfus thinks that Sissfus may be stuck. Moonstone making wall for Sissfus, mabey Sharra Huntress is trying to teach Sissfus something?"
Siss shakes his scaly head again and blinks, and then scratches his head "Why is Sissfus talking this like?" He hits himself on the side of the head, and then closes his eyes, and concentrates his thoughts, hoping to make sense of things.
Asia...Asia, can you hear me? I hope so, I wonder if Lind can hear me too! I think that I heard your voice once in that tower...I think it that I was listening to your thoughts.

Lindalas nods to Asia in recognition of her suggestion that he should not laugh at Sissy. Yet he cannot help but let a faint smile spread across his face. He looks into his backpack and fishes out one slightly used bag and walks over to Sissy.
"Siss, why don't you sneak into this bag while you try to regain your form. I'll leave the top open so that you can come back out whenever you're ready." Lindalas hold's out the bag of holding half expecting Sissy to turn and run (in which case he is prepared to catch the little kobold and stuff him into the bag with force).

Sissfus' beady little kobold eyes narrow at this suggestion, and he shakes his head wildly. "Sissfus can hide real well, as well as Skotch even, Sissfus bets!" he says, and suddenly dissappears into the shadows (ooc, kobolds get hide in plain sight, yay!). He considers for a moment, then shrugs and emerges. "But since Lindalas asked, Sissfus will go in stupid bag. But Sissfus will sneak out once inside temple, put bag down behind something for him, and Sissfus will get out and goes with Skotch and looks around."
Siss sheates the viscous, poison-dripping sword that he wields in his belt, and climbs stealthily into the bag, looking around to make sure that he is not seen. The Moonstone glows slightly within the darkness of the bag, and he shoves it down his vest, before curling up into a ball, his tail wrapped around his nose.

*Asia rolls her eyes, grabs the little lizard by his tail before completely in the bag and pulls him back out* Holding him out in front her by his tail he hangs upside down, "look, you're not going to hide in a bag. You're going to solve your problem now. Besides, if you are going to sneak around inside the temple in Kobold form, why go i the bag now anyway? Just sneak into the place as a Kobold. And so what if anyone of the others see you? All of your forms have there moments when they will come in handy Siss, no reason to be ashamed of any of them, they are all special to an extent.
You weren't with us then, but Lind, you remember when your old friend Gand and that stupid Drow Gathtarn had us captured in a cell on a ship? The bars were to strong to bend, the cell was a magic dead zone...but, our transformation abilities are not effected by a magic dead zone...now, that is the only time I have used it, but I changed into a badger, was able to slip through the bars, and kill the guards barely. So, all forms have there uses. Go ahead and run around a bit as a Kobold, get used to the form, because someday, it will come in handy. Or change back to normal now, but again, don't worry about your forms. Even the ones you might not be too keen on, WILL come in handy one day. " *drops the little iguana and lets him scramble to not fall on his head*
(ooc: we don't want Siss stuck in a bag now anyway. No game today, and maybe none next week. If he is in a bag for the next two weeks, not much will be happening here in the RP forum. We might as well stay out here, we can't RP too much into the future, since V hasn't written it yet we can't go to our next destination)

Siss screeches in agitation as Asia picks him up, and attempts to gnaw on her fingers.
He spins in midair, and lands deftly on his feet, then eyes Asia warily for a moment, and then nods. "Sissfus thinks you are probably right, Asia" he says. "Mabey we should all look around temple for a way for Skotch and Sissfus, and mabey others to sneaks in?"
