Mysteries of Westgate is the first official "Adventure Pack" for NWN2. It has been described as being almost as extensive as an expansion pack, as far as gameplay hours and polish go. It will use an authentication system that is dependent on some functionality that was coded into the 1.12 patch that was just released, so I imagine we will see it soon. After playing a single player mod for the first time in ages, and fiddling around with the camera modes, I thought this might be an area where we could help each other out. So, I've put up a poll asking what your preferred camera mode is of the two new modes (strategy or character), and a new thread to discuss it in more detail.

Since some of us will at some point soon be finishing Mask of the Betrayer, I've put up a new poll to the right. What did you think of the expansion? You can also discuss your opinions over in the Mask of the Betrayer section of the forums.

With the NWN2 expansion on the way, I got to wondering whether or not I would play through the expansion's single player campaign. I've finished all of the NWN official campaigns, plus the NWN2 campaign, even though I prefer multiplayer. I realized, though, that the NWN games and expansions were just about the only RPGs I started and actually finished. Well, that and both KOTOR games.
