As you can see, the site has a new look. I was getting tired of the old look, which had been in place for about a year. Please note that you can change both the font size of text, and the width of the site, by using the options at the very top right of the screen. I'm still tweaking things, so if you notice any glitches, or something you don't like, let me know. Thanks.
At the suggestion of Fenixphire, I've added Heed's PC Tools to the module. The tools come in the form of a hak file, so If you don't already have the hak for these tools installed, please run WorldGate to get the necessary hak. Start WorldGate, and click on "Check for New Files." The hak will then be downloaded and placed into the proper location. The download took me only a few seconds. These tools add many emote functions, an AFK ("away from keyboard") display toggle, the ability to build a campfire, and many other options. For more information, click here. {mos_fb_discuss:14}
I'm pleased to announce that Stephen is joining the campaign. He has indicated that he plans to play a human cleric. He will be joining us, starting tomorrow. We are glad to have you join us, Stephen. Welcome aboard. {mos_fb_discuss:14}
Anoikis asked if there was a way to start a journal. So, I've gone ahead and set up functionality for each of you to start a journal if you'd like. You should see two buttons in the user menu: "Write a Journal entry" and "Read Your Journal." There's also a link to "Player Journals" in the main menu. You should be able to choose whether a journal entry is visible or not. Any questions or comments, let me know. {mos_fb_discuss:14}
I have good news to report. No, not that patch 1.07 has been released to give us a workable DM client. Even better. Bigbluepaw is going to be returning in a few weeks as co-DM in the Naeldor Campaign. Bigbluepaw was the co-DM for the NWN1 Naeldor Campaign for almost the entire run of the campaign, and helped turn that into a really fantastic time for all of us. He is a very talented DM, but had to take some time off due to real life (that pesky "family" thing). This is welcome news indeed, especially considering how difficult the DM client is to handle in its current state. He thinks he will be rejoining the campaign in approximately four weeks. I, for one, can't wait!
I was contacted by Banshe, who is part of another DM'd campaign for NWN2, to discuss a place for different groups like ours to meet online. As NWN2 DM'd groups are few and far between, he and I thought that all of us like-minded individuals should get to know each other better. He is part of a guild on the Bioware forums called "The Adventurer's League." He invited me, and all of you, to pop in and say hello. He is hoping that with lots of people all together in the same place, good things will happen. I think the idea is to have a place where NWN2 campaigns are listed, and we all get to know each other. As the group there is currently in European time zones, there won't be much overlap, but it is a good start. If you are interested, head over to the guild page and say hello.
The July 29 registration page is up. Please sign up if you can make it. If you can't, please post in the Session Availability part of the forums, as a courtesy to me and the other players, so that we know if we have enough to play each week (we don't keep a large "buffer" of extra players, so it is important to know everyone's availability each week, although we do understand that you can't make it all the time). We only had 3 players available last session, so we canceled the session. I will be making decisions on whether we have enough players for a session 4 hours in advance of game time, and post a cancellation notice if we don't have enough players.
