I've added a bit to the modules, so please run WorldGate before Sunday's (July 22) session. This will update the two pwc files you have, and automatically change their version number (the part after the # symbol). Assuming your WorldGate client is still configured, you just need to start WorldGate, and click on the "Check for New Files" button. You will then get a versioning system warning message, as indicated in the last post in this thread ,TWICE. Simply click "Yes" at that screen both times.

A session summary from the July 15 session has been posted in the forums.  In addition, the roleplay forum for next session is set up.  There will be a 100 XP bonus to anyone who participates in the forum before next session.  Finally, the registration page for the July 22 session is up as well.  Please sign up so that we have an idea how many can make it next session.  If you can't make it, please post in the Session Availability section of the forums.

I've added the pwc file for the first part of the next module, so please run WorldGate before Sunday's session.  Running WorldGate will automatically download the file FOHS_Mod_II#100.pwc into the pwc directory on your computer.  In case you forget, you need to click on the green "check for new files" button in WorldGate to get started.  More detailed instructions can be found in the second post of this thread.  It took me about 40 seconds to update when testing here.  Also, please do not delete the pwc file that you already have.  You still need it.  If you have any questions, let me know.  {mos_fb_discuss:14}

At some point prior to Sunday's game, a new pwc file will be ready for download via WorldGate.  It will be ready anywhere from tomorrow (Friday) evening, to Sunday at noon.  It is pretty much done now, but I am polishing a few kinks.  I will let you know when it is ready via the front page here, but am giving you the heads up now so you know to check in prior to the game on Sunday to get the download.  It includes a sizeable chunk of the next module, so it will be a decent (but manageable) download.  {mos_fb_discuss:14}

Obsidian has released a hotfix to patch 1.06.  As explained in this post, this hotfix addresses crashes that people were having with the original 1.06.  Further, even though your game should already be at 1.06, this hotfix does increment your version number to 1.06.980.  As Obsidian notes, "if you play MP, you will need to get this Hot Fix."  If we all aren't at the same increment number as the server, we can't play on the server.  To make sure that we're all at the same place, I've updated the server, so please run your official NWN2 updater to get this hotfix.  {mos_fb_discuss:14}

I've put a poll up on the front page about combat balance.  I'm interested in your perspective on whether things have been too easy, too hard, or just right.  My aim is to have a bit of a mix - some fights will be easy, some will be moderate, and some will be difficult.  You can vote in the poll and discuss things in this thread.

I neglected to set up the registration page for today (until just now), but we are playing today (7/8/07). We had 3 players so far indicate in the forums that they are playing, so we are good to go. If you haven't signed up, please do so we know whether to expect you or not. Also, Wraith Sarevok is joining us as a player. I sent out the invite just before leaving for the weekend, and I just replied to his affirmative response now, so I don't know if he'll get the message in time for tonight, but he will be with us soon.

We only had 2 players who were available to play today, so we canceled the session. Please remember to sign up at least 8 hours in advance of the session if you can make it, and post in the forums if you can't. That's not a rule (i.e. you won't be barred from playing if you don't), but it is a nice courtesy to everyone else. There's nothing worse than not knowing until game time if we're going to play, especially if you could have made other plans for the evening. Also, please be on time if you signed up. That is just a common courtesy to your fellow players. This isn't a persistent world where one player doesn't make much of a difference - we only have 6 players in the campaign. Thanks!
