We were scheduled to begin our playthrough of the official campaign on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, I (Venture) now will be away from home on Sunday night, so can't play. We can either try for a later day in the week (I get back late Monday afternoon) or just push it back a week. Let me know in the thread where we discussed the schedule. Sorry for the inconvenience.
EDIT: We'll be playing on February 18 (Sunday).
Patch 1.04 is now available via the autoupdater. We will probably use this version for our game on February 11, pending feedback from the community on any issues with the patch. Some of the features of the patch are the return of the "V" key to issue voice commands and emotes, improved functionality of the hotbar, improvement of tree textures, display support for the Logitech G15 keyboard (sweet!), bugfixes, and several improvements to the toolset and DM client.
A group of us are going to start a multiplayer play-through of the official campaign, as we've discussed in this thread. If interested in joining us, head over there to discuss what day works best for you, and to discuss your character choice.
I'm posting this to give everyone a heads up concerning when I think we'll be starting the campaign. As mentioned earlier, I want to finish the official boxed campaign before I continue what I had started building before the game's release. The official campaign is taking longer for me to play through than I thought. I'm almost done Act II. That means I'm taking about a month per Act. The problem for me right now is that real life seems much busier for me than it did when the original NWN was released. I'm hoping after the holidays, things will settle down. If I get faster (for example, if I take a day or two off over the holidays and there is no snow to lure me to the slopes), the earliest we'd start would probably be in early February. It is possible it might not be until March (or even later, but I hope not). I'll let you know when I finish the official campaign. Two things we will need to do at some point are stress test the server (I plan to buy a new dedicated server in early 2007), and possibly recruit a player or two.
